Created indexes of reviewed documents, and maintain separate indexes of produced documents, and documents of importance.  Also used indexes to create case time lines and outlines.  Have reviewed electronically produced documents, and have used Summation and Concordance production databases.

Contract attorney with various Houston-area law firms, including the firms Clements, O’Neill, Pierce & Nickens, L.L.P. and Gibbs & Bruns,, L.L.P.  Responsible for document review and document production in Environmental, Commercial Litigation, and Antitrust Cases.  Duties included privilege and relevance reviews, document coding, and summarizing of depositions.

FAHL & TAKEUCHI, Associate, April, 1995 to July, 1997:

Insurance defense and automobile accident litigation attorney responsible for research, writing motions, and arguing before the Court.  Mediated cases, took depositions, and conducted witness preparation.  Prepared and filed discovery. 

Second chaired three trials, all of which resulted in a good verdict for the client.  Assisted with jury selection.

Read all motions before the Court, checked cases cited, and conducted independent research to verify asserted claims and defenses.  Briefed all summary judgments motions before the Court, and advised Judge as to possible rulings.

Responsible for researching trial briefings, taking notes during trials, aiding with the jury selection process, and assisted with docket calls.
